Within the scope of her practice, Dr. Woolwich-Holzman addresses the total health care of each patient, offering additional healing through the use of acupuncture, chiropractic, Chinese and Western herbs, and nutrition so as to help them achieve their optimal state of health. Initial visits are sixty to seventy-five minutes in length, so as to permit complete and unhurried assessment of each animal’s needs. This holistic care should not and does not serve as a replacement for conventional veterinary care; rather, it serves to complement that care, creating a more complete system of animal health care. Patients are accepted via referral from other veterinarians, or upon request of their caretakers.
