- As this practice does not replace conventional veterinary care, each
patient must have a current relationship with a primary care veterinarian.
- Dogs must walk into the practice on a leash, and cats must arrive
in appropriate carriers.
- Animal caretakers need to provide adequate health histories of their
pets, including but not limited to results of previous veterinary exams,
previous health problems, results of laboratory or imaging tests, complete
listing of current diet(s), medication(s) or supplement(s), and accounting
of other complementary healing modalities previously obtained.
- All patients must have their initial patient contact in the office;
though phone consultations can be helpful for certain aspects of follow-up
care, complete and appropriate holistic animal care requires a physical
examination.
- Appointment cancellations require 24 hours
notice.
